In spring of 2024, local Kansas City restaurant chain Homegrown commissioned me to create a large-scale painting "Kansas" (4x5, Acrylic on canvas) to be hung in their newest restaurant location in Merriam, Kansas.
This painting features an impressionistic display of wildflowers native to the Kansas and Missouri region. Inspired by digital painting textures, This painting has a goal of allowing the eye to travel and the viewer reminisce on a scene of a lying peacefully in a field of flowers.
